Committee Responsibilities

Initially we aim to set up four working committees.  The management committee will govern and provide support to the other three committees. The working committees are (co-)chaired by members and meet throughout the year.

  • 1. Management committee
    • Manage and provide assistance and support to the other committees;
    • Appoint committee members;
    • Monitor the other committees’ work and to report the actions of the forum to all the members.

  • 2. Events committee
    • Advertise the forum to extend the membership network;
    • Organize events, conferences or seminars which will function as a forum for industry participants to share and discuss ideas and topics related to the Asian real estate market;
    • Facilitate networking between industry participants and actively build a network of relations with other real estate associations.

  • 3. Database committee
    • Develop the Asian real estate market database, the members-only database of Asian real estate vehicles, as well as other website-based services and databases.

  • 4. Research and Information committee
    • Establish and maintain a platform to share research from internal and external sources among members;
    • Prepare and review articles on subjects related to Asian real estate and economy, improving the consistency and presentation of information;
    • Provide comments on important latest news and property transaction deals, encouraging greater transparency in investor reporting;
    • Make sure investors’ input and needs are taken into account.
